The past few weeks have seen turmoil for the government, resulting in Boris Johnson announcing that he will be resigning as Prime Minister.
The decision came after pressure from within the PM's own party following numerous scandals, culminating in key figures such as Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid resigning from the cabinet, as well as Priti Patel and Michael Gove urging the PM to quit.
But despite announcing his resignation, Johnson has stated that he plans to remain in office until September while the Conservative leadership contest takes place, and we want to know your thoughts on this decision.

The new Tory leader is set to be decided on September 5, with the MPs going into the first ballot announced by 1922 committee leader Sir Graham Brady last night.
Rishi Sunak, Liz Truss, Tom Tugendhat, Penny Mordaunt, Kemi Badenoch, Nadhim Zahawi, Jeremy Hunt and Suella Braverman are all launching their campaigns, with Sajid Javid having pulled out of the contest.
In the meantime, Johnson is set to continue as PM saying it was: “because I felt it was my job, my duty, my obligation to you.”
