Ex-Liverpool midfielder Pedro Chirivella has praised his former teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold after Saturday's FA Cup semi-final win over Manchester City.
The Reds booked themselves a spot in next month's showpiece at Wembley against Chelsea with a dramatic 3-2 victory over Pep Guardiola's side. Ibrahima Konate headed Liverpool in front in the early stages, before a Sadio Mane double gave them a comfortable 3-0 lead at half-time.
City fought back and reduced the deficit to just one, but it was Jurgen Klopp's men that emerged victorious at full time.

Alexander-Arnold took to social media to share his delight and reaching another cup final, with a post dedicated to goalscorer Mane. Chirivella responded with a comment: "Your right foot should be illegal."
The right-back's crossing ability is unmatched and he already has 18 assists for Liverpool in all competitions this season alone. His all-time stats are even more impressive with 61 assists for the first team so far.
Chirivella, now at Ligue 1 side Nantes, made only 11 senior appearances for Liverpool with most of his game time coming at under-23 level. He left Anfield in July 2020 on a free transfer after seven years with the club.
The 24-year-old has scored three goals and registered three assists in 69 appearances for Nantes. All three of his goals have come this season in Ligue 1.
