Shots fired at house with people inside as men flee on scrambler bikes
A house was damaged after a shooting in Knotty Ash.
Merseyside Police were called to a house on Max Road, Knotty Ash, at around 10.50pm on Wednesday, July 13. A property was damaged which is believed to have been caused by gun shots.
Detective Inspector John Mullen said: "The investigation is in the very early stages as we seek to establish what has taken place. We would ask anyone who was in the area of Max Road at around 11pm last night who saw or heard anything or anyone with dash cam or Ring doorbell in the local area to check their cameras to see if they captured anything significant and contact us.

Dog bites woman in face and throat in savage street attack
A woman was attacked by a dog in Norris Green.
The dog jumped up and bit the victim's face and throat in the incident on Lower House Lane in Norris Green. The incident took place at around 7pm, on Monday, July 11.
Police have issued an image of a man that they believe was walking walking the dog. The man left the scene following the attack.

Stunning drone footage shows new Royal Liverpool Hospital as staff set to move in
Drone footage has been shared of the new Royal Liverpool Hospital.
It was confirmed today (July 14) that the move to the Royal Liverpool Hospital would start from September 28. The opening of the hospital has been hit with delays and problems.
James Sumner, Chief Executive at LUHFT, said: “The new hospital marks the beginning of a new era of healthcare in the city, when the people of Liverpool will finally have the hospital and facilities that they deserve. Today represents a real milestone in the life of Liverpool University Hospitals and in the construction of the new Royal Liverpool University Hospital. I’m delighted that we have taken possession of the building from our construction partners Laing O’Rourke."
