This year we welcome Oldbury-based training provider group BCTG as our headline sponsor. Our host for the awards ceremony will be Heart radio broadcaster Ed James.
Midlands business editor Tamlyn Jones said: "We are pleased to unveil our 2022 shortlist which once again showcases the broad depth of talent we have in the Greater Birmingham area.
"This is the fourth year we have hosted the awards in partnership with the Ladder campaign and it is safe to say the passing of time has not diminished the standard of entries.
"We are looking forward to returning once again to Edgbaston Stadium for the gala awards ceremony which we know will be a great celebration of the apprenticeship community and those supporting the next generation of talent across the region."
We would also like to acknowledge the contribution made by the training providers which have worked with the finalists and their employers - Aston University, Birmingham Metropolitan College, HS2, Ixion Training part of Shaw Trust, JTL Training, Juniper Training, Performance Through People, PwC, Sandwell and Birmingham NHS Trust, University College Birmingham and Weightmans.
