Shortlist for PlymouthLive Business Awards 2022 revealed

It’s the moment many Plymouth businesses have been waiting for - the shortlists for the PlymouthLive Business Awards 2022 can be revealed. Businesses large and small, and individualists too, have been chosen across 12 categories and will find out which ones have won at a glamorous live ceremony in October.

Every year the awards attract submissions from a wide range of businesses from across the city, from start-ups, to SMEs and major employers and 2022 was no exception. A huge number of businesses entered and the judging panel had the difficult task of selecting a small number of nominees in each category, from which one winner will be chosen.

The judging panel this year included Rich Adams, the University of Plymouth’s business engagement manager; Pauline Hands, City College Plymouth’s executive of commercial operations; Steve Warren-Brown, managing director of YGS Landscapes; Lisa Piper. marketing and schools manager at The Cornwall College Group; Stuart Elford, chief executive of Devon and Plymouth Chamber of Commerce; and William Telford, agenda editor at PlymouthLive.

The Outstanding Contribution to Plymouth’s Business Community winner will be announced at the awards ceremony after being chosen by our panel of judges.

Finalists will be invited to a drinks reception on September 8, at The Box, and winners will be announced at the black-tie ceremony on October 6. It is being held at a new venue this year: Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park Stadium. To book tickets for the event simply click here.

The 2022 winners will join a roll-call of previous winners such as Services Design Solution, Wolferstans Solicitors, Rittal-CSM, Burts Snacks, Bailey Partnership, Computech, Princess Yachts, CATERed and Plymouth Science Park.
