Shoppers in Nottingham city centre have said they are "very excited" for a new bar to open, with one describing where it's based as a "beautiful location". Botti di Mamma on Broad Street, which serves Italian food and drink, has been split into half, with a new bar set to open in one of the spaces.
It will be called The Goat, which stands for greatest of all time, and will serve tapas, traditional wood-fired pizzas and cocktails. It's set to open on July 9, with work underway to change the dark green exterior to a bright pink colour ahead of the launch.
A licensing application has been submitted, which if accepted as it is, will mean the bar will open from 8am to 2am every day of the week, and will sell alcohol until 1.30am. And shoppers are looking forward to trying it out once it's open.

Bea Ferguson, 18, a film student at Confetti, said: "I like the pink on the outside, it is really pretty and cute looking. I walk around here very often. It is quite a student and young people area, but you also get a large range of demographic here, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
"There are more bars around the area, but people do like bar crawls all the time, going from one to another, so this would be a great addition. It's very exciting."
Andrew Hose, 42, who works for computer sales, said: "This street is lively and there is always something going on here, particularly with the bars and Broadway right in front of it. I will definitely try it once it opens."
Julian, 29, a musician said: "It is a beautiful location. I would probably go there if the music is good. Although, I do miss Lee Rosy’s Tea, if I’m completely honest."
Even staff at other bars on Broad Street are looking forward to the new bar opening. One thinks it will bring more people into the area.
Beth Denham, 28, sales manager of Revolution in Hockley, said: "We are really excited for it to bring business to the area. We don't really see it as competition but something that just brings more footfall to the area.
"It is a popular place and would tie in really well with the Lord Roberts pub and other businesses on the street. I'm really looking forward to it and will definitely try it out myself."
