A set of Christmas-themed dishes and placemats has gone down a storm with B&M shoppers. Customers have been desperate to get their hands on the festive items before their popularity inevitably leads to shortages.
While several of the items in the collection can be viewed online, they are only available to buy in-store. Among these are the stag dinner plate, stag dessert bowl, stag side plate, and woodland splendour acacia star serving board.
An Instagram user described these festive dinner must-haves: "I’ve just seen these in my B&M. They are stunning. And I only bought what I needed this time! I can be trusted in B&M," Leicestershire Live reports.
With the lack of online order options, the products are selling out fast. One shopper noted: "I’ve checked four stores and can’t find them. Any idea if they should be in store and sold out or whether they are still to be released?"
The most sought-after of the lot seems to be the star placemats, with numerous people commencing their search for the apparently elusive product. A pack of two of these will set people back £6 if found.
Meanwhile, the dinner plate has been priced at £3.50, the dessert bowl is £3, the serving board is going for £6 and the side plate retails at £2.50.
When compared to other outlets, a 12-piece Christmas set (four dinner plates, four side plates and four bowls) sells online at Asda for £20. The price for the equivalent B&M items would be £36.
