Shoppers are urging households to 'boycott big brands' amid 'disgusting' supermarket prices.
Everyone knows that products have shot up during the cost of living crisis, leaving many families struggling to make ends meet.
But customers are accusing some of the bigger brands of taking advantage and 'profiteering' from the situation.
One shopper shared a photo of a tub of Bisto costing £5.80 at Tesco over the weekend and said: "This is getting absolutely ridiculous now! I certainly won't be entertaining them."

Hundreds of people reacted to her post, in a budgeting Facebook group, with many of them saying it's time to ditch the bigger brands.
"Just the big brands profiteering," said one. "Boycott 'em and see the price fall quick smart! Til then by cheaper brands that often taste fab in comparison. Time the public says enough is enough."
"If everyone boycotts the brands at inflated prices, they will soon bring the prices down," said another.
And a third added: "We will have to get through to them through our wallets. If we don't buy these products at such extortionate prices they will have to reduce the price. I for one will avoid branded goods opting for shops own brand."
Others said the same has happened with Heinz, with one shopper saying: "Have you seen the price of Heinz Ketchup? Over a fiver a bottle it’s a bloody disgrace."
One customer described the increases from Heinz and Bisto manufacturer Premier Foods as 'just crazy'.
"When prices do eventually stabilise and fall I won't be buying their products again, nor Heinz," she said.
It comes just days after we reported shoppers asking 'when will this madness end'? as they struggle to cope with ongoing price hikes.
One woman shared her disbelief over seemingly relentless increases after the cost of her usual pet food and pizza went up again at her local convenience store.
"Can't believe this. Last week ( Friday ) pizza was £1.75 now it's £1.99," she said. "Prices are going up every other day now. When will this madness end? Cat food was 75p, then 95p then £1.10 now it's £1.55 sorry rant over but this is beyond ridiculous."
Her post attracted more than 200 comments from people, mostly agreeing with her sentiment and saying that they too are 'fed up' with constantly paying more for the same items.
A Premier Foods spokesperson said: “The retail price of our products is at the discretion of retailers who run a range of promotions and deals at different times.
"Our most popular 190g Bisto gravy tub is currently available for £2. Like many other food businesses, we’ve seen significant increases in the cost of ingredients, as well as other raw materials, energy, packaging and labour.
"We always look at ways to offset as much cost pressure as we can through internal cost saving measures, and only increase prices when we absolutely have to. We also regularly review our pricing and promotional offers, and we are committed to ensuring consumers enjoy great value for money from our brands.”
A spokesperson for Kraft Heinz said: “Like everyone, it’s still costing us more to make our products compared with previous years. The price of ingredients, energy and packaging are all still incredibly high due to continued double-digit inflation. We do not anticipate any further price increases in 2023 though as we stated earlier this year.
“We go to great lengths to offer good value for money without compromising on quality and taste. We’re working collaboratively with our retailers, suppliers, and partners to offset increased production costs, maximise efficiencies, run regular promotions and offer our consumers more choices through tasty value ranges and alternative pack sizes.”
The MEN has approached Tesco for a comment.
