Asda George is helping shoppers get ready for the warmer weather with customers left hugely impressed by the supermarket's latest range of summer shoes.
The in-house fashion brand often provides trendy and affordable options, with this summer's collection no exception. And the star of the show is a particular pair of sandals that shoppers claim look almost identical to a high-end brand's version.
Taking to Instrgram, Asda George recently shared snap of the shoes as shoppers raced to their nearest store to snap them up. Coming in four different colours, the footwear looks very similar to Birkenstocks but are available for just a fraction of the price of the popular shoes, priced at just £7.
In summery colours pink, white, orange and khaki, the sandals are complete with a thick strap and buckle much like the famed brand's Birkenstock's Arizona Essentials, reports HullLive.
But the high end option will set you back £45, with Birkenstock's ranges pricing from £40 to more than £100.
The Asda George's website describes the shoes as "Slip on design, double buckle fastenings, open toe front and lightly gripped outer sole."
And there are lots of five star reviews online with shoppers hugely impressed by the "dupe".
One buyer commented: "Really impressed by these sandals."
A second added: "I bought these and v happy I bought for my mum who wanted something comfortable and she loves it."
Another wrote: "Super comfortable and a really good price. Almost identical to the Birkenstock Eva sandals", with a fourth penning "Perfect fit and lovely colours. As comfortable as my branded ones so will be buying other colours for this summer."
The George Instagram post went down a treat, with shoppers commenting in their hundreds as the video racked up hundreds of likes in just hours.
