Shoppers rave about 'iconic' meal deal Christmas tree decoration and try to guess flavour

With Christmas just around the corner, our favourite supermarkets and budget home stores are providing us much entertainment through their weird and wonderful Christmas decorations. Recently, B&M hit the deck by leaving shoppers in stitches with a decoration, which donned an unfortunate spelling fail.

However, Sainsbury's is the most recent store to up its game in the ornament sector after its latest release has shoppers raving about the "iconic" design. Customer Pauline Kobo took to TikTok to share the store's "genius" meal deal Christmas decoration, and her video has continued to rocket in views since.

In the video, which has surpassed 1.1 million views since posting, Pauline was stunned by the tree decoration and took to the popular video-streaming service to share her discovery.

The Sainsbury's Home Xmas Sandwich Hanging Decorations originally retails for £5, but it's currently reduced to £3.75.

The ornament features a miniaturised meal deal in iconic red packaging to hang on your tree - and it's safe to say that Sainsbury's put a lot of festive thought into the design.

The online description reads: "Sandwich for Santa? Fire the kids' imagination up and get them to hang this snack for hungry elves and reindeer this year. Festive fun for everyone."

Captioning the post, shopper Pauline admitted: "Can't decide whether it's cheese and onion or BLT???"

"You can now hang your meal deal on a Christmas tree," she added into the clip.

After posting, over 1,000 viewers took to the comment section to share their thoughts on the quirky design.

One user exclaimed: "Genius."

"Iconic," another added.

A different user tagged a friend and wrote: "I say we get this as a key ring."

A fourth admitted: "I want one."
