When it comes to a standard trip to B&M, chances are that you are going to be nabbing some pretty epic savings and deals.
Whether it be on stylish new homeware, cleaning products or even beauty items, the popular discounted retailer has become well known as the place to be for low prices.
However, what most shoppers don't expect to see in one of the retailer's sale is an item that costs exactly the same as it did before it was "reduced."
Like many retailers, B&M regularly offers a clearance sale which lets shoppers pick up old stock that it is looking to sell off at incredibly cheap prices - with some up to 50% off.
One store clearly didn't get that memo, as one shopper spotted that their local store was selling one of the retailer's Artificial Face Planter's in the sale - but it was still the same price.
Sharing a picture of non-bargain to the B&M Bargains, Money Saving Deals and More Facebook page, the item can be seen with a red "reduced to clear" sticker. The label said that it had been reduced to £2.50...from its original £2.50.
Naturally, the comments section was filled with customers wittily taking aim at the innocent pricing blunder, as some called it the "bargain of the year."
"Bargain of the year. Did you clear the shelf?", joked one shopper.
"Ooh great saving 0.00p", quipped a second.
"Omg you better grab that bargain before someone else does!!", commented a third.
"More like red faced planter who ever put that sticker on", replied a fourth.
A spokesperson for B&M told the Daily Record that the blunder was in fact a printing error and that the homeware item's full price was £5 - so shoppers are making a 50% saving.
