Shoppers 'love' this month's Co-Op £6 meal deal

Shoppers have been raving about a frozen Co-op meal deal where you can bag five staple freezer items for £6.

The cost of living crisis means thousands of people have been left looking for cheaper ways to fill their fridge and freezers. The items will last in the freezer if not eaten right away, helping with the cost of living.

The deal is valid until March 7 2023. Those with an NUS or TOTUM card will be able to get an extra 10% off, making the deal £5.40.

For this cost, shoppers can bag themselves:

  • Birds Eye 2 Battered Extra Large Fish Fillets

  • Birds Eye Crispy Fish Fingers

  • Birds Eye Garden Peas

  • McCain Oven Chips

  • Cadbury Dairy Milk Ice Cream Tub

What’s more, if you were to buy all of the frozen foods separately, it would cost £13.95 - in other words, you are saving at least £7.95 on this meal deal.

People have praised the Co-op for introducing the deal at a time that many households are struggling, with many saying they will make sure to stock up on the way home.

One person wrote: "Thank you for sharing, hopefully in stock in my local will pick up on the way home." While another added: “‘I love these monthly offers and they are brilliant for when you’re skint.”

A third said: “This will be a great weekend treat. Thank you for sharing this great offer.”
