The countdown to Valentine’s Day is on, so if you haven’t found the perfect gift for that special someone yet, it may be time to start looking. Popular Valentine's gifts people like to give are often romantic and sentimental, and include common items like flowers, chocolates and sweets.
However this typical Valentine’s sweet treat has recently had a makeover which has shoppers blushing. British business ‘Lovehoney’ which sells sex toys, lingerie and erotic gifts online has got their hands on Love Heart-like sweets and created an x-rated version.
Their ‘Valentine Hearts’ are heart-shaped hard sweets that each feature a risqué phrase. The website says they are the “perfect cheeky gift to share with someone you're intimate with” and that the fruity flavours and selection of colours “add fun to foreplay.”

A “raunchy twist” on the classic Love Hearts sweets, these saucy treats include captions such as 'Eat Me', 'Bend Over' and 'Cute Butt'. Those that bought the product have said it is the perfect cheeky gift to give your other half.
“They're just like conventional lovehearts in taste, but definitely a lot ruder in the phrases. You just have to try out the different suggestions!” one buyer said.
Another shopper said: “I bought these to take to my friend's hen do as something a little bit different, and everyone thought they were hilarious!
“The messages on them are really funny and they taste great too (my particular favourite being the yellow one), especially with a few cocktails! These are a brilliant naughty alternative to the traditional love heart sweets, great for parties or a cheeky gift for your other half!”
One review read: “These are great. Just like the usual love hearts but with sexier messages. These are so much fun, and I definitely need to get some more.
“Yummy, cute and sexy - what more could you want. We leave them around for each other or pop them into each other's work lunches as little messages and promises for later. Would definitely recommend.”
