One Facebook user wrote: "They look like a good hangover cure tbf!"

Another said: "Would be good in a sandwich, kind of like a fish finger sandwich."

And a third wrote: "This is a game changer for our fry ups!"

While another said: "Oh my lord, the cuisine in this nation throws me off everytime. What is the fascination to cram baked beans in everything I don't get it. What is next? Marmite filled hashbrowns?"

More comments read: "Hell yeah! I'm in. That's going to be the new 'chicken soup'."

Meanwhile, others said: "They'll just end up being soggy from the bean juice. hash browns should be firm and crispy."

Another Facebook user commented: "Sound quite nice to me!!!! Worth a try anyway!!"

Someone else noted: "Christ on a bike… I love that."

And another exclaimed: "Game changer!!"

One added: " I'm actually all for this!!!"

And finally, one concluded: "Oh my giddy aunt! Whatever next? Sausages filled with mash?"

You can find the unusual treat on Iceland and The Food Warehouse shelves by early September.
