Shoppers desperate to 'bulk buy' discontinued crisps coming back after 14 years

Shoppers have been left excited after spotting that a discontinued product is on its way back into stores.

Dedicated foodie Facebook page Snack News & Reviews shared the news this week that Nik Naks would be bringing back its Scampi 'n' Lemon flavoured crisps. The flavour was phased out back in 2008 to make room for a new Pickle 'n' Onion flavour.

The Scampi 'n' Lemon crisps, in their signature green packaging, can be purchased as part of a multipack but cannot be bought separately. Now, they're making a comeback.

The post racked up hundreds of likes and more than 700 comments. Beneath the popular photo, shoppers shared their excitement over the news.

One person said: "This is my favourite flavour niknaks" and a second wrote: "Yes! These were the best one!" A third added: "Used to love these back in the day. Bloody gorgeous!!"

A fourth excited shopper said: "Best crisps ever!" and a fifth wrote: "bulk buy". A sixth added: "omg I need these xxxxx" and another added: "I love this flavour!"

Scampi 'n' Lemon Nik Naks are expected back in stores soon.
