The high street retailer’s Shirred Frill Midi Dress comes in at £36.99 , and is set to be the go-to outfit for summer BBQs, picnics, beer gardens and more.
Fashion fans have praised the midi dress as ‘very flattering’ and have already completely sold out the navy, with red, white and black flying off the digital shelves.

Boasting a shirred bodice and frill straps, shoppers have been impressed by how crease-proof it is meaning little to no ironing is required, making it the ideal dress for a holiday abroad, too.
The dress is crafted from a super soft cotton blend material and can be dressed up or down for almost any summer occasion. And because of its roomy tiered fit, the midi dress will skirt over the most bloated of tummies, Manchester Evening News reports.
New Look's £37 Shirred Frill Midi Dress comes in sizes 6 to 22 , but sizes have been selling fast off the back of its near-perfect reviews.
One shopper wrote: “Lovely dress that can be dressed up or down. A flattering neckline for the fuller bust, will definitely be ordering the other colours.”
Another said: “Lovely summer dress, true to size and very comfortable. Nice material, not too thin so it hangs nicely. Will be great for day time or dressed up for night. Flattering fit and neckline. Shoulder straps can also be worn off the shoulder for a different style. Love the bright blue colour.”
A third said: “Love this dress! Very flattering and love how its that material that doesn't need ironing or crease up too easily! Wish they had this in more colours too as I would buy them all! The shirred top allows you to get away with not wearing a bra, which is always a bonus, Can see it lasting as well.”
The only issue some shoppers have had is that it’s quite long on petite frames, with those around 5’2” finding it to be too long. With one commenting: “Lovely effortless dress for holiday evening wear. Nice material, however I'm only 5ft and felt it drowned me. So had to return it. Shame though because I really liked it.”
