With a further three bank holidays ahead and the warmer weather starting to creep in, it’s the ideal time to get the family together for a barbecue. And shoppers can get their hands on a free charcoal BBQ from Argos ahead of the next long weekend.
Many Brits are set to enjoy days off on May 1 and 29 for the annual Bank Holidays in 2023, with an additional day off for King Charles’ Coronation on Monday, May 9 - each one the perfect excuse to throw some burgers and sausages on the grill.
As part of a deal from money-saving website TopCashback, customers can pick up a free BBQ worth £15 if they’ve not previously used the cashback site.

In order to claim the deal, first-time shoppers can sign up via this link to TopCashback, where they will be eligible for a £15 sign up bonus at particular retailers. Customers can then select a home and garden retailer, and make a purchase that costs £15 or more.
Retailers taking part in the TopCashback sign up bonus include Dunelm, B&Q, Wilko, eBay, The Range and Argos, but only those who shop at Argos via the cashback site will be able to get the free bit of garden gear.
The high street store is the only one that currently has a BBQ on sale for exactly £15, meaning that the cashback will allow you to break even with your purchase.
The 35cm steel BBQ is said to be ‘perfectly sized for around four people’ and easy to build, with more than 600 five star reviews on the Argos site.
While some shoppers have described the BBQ as ‘flimsy’, others have said it does the job just fine, with one commenting: “Bought this few weeks ago ready for next year, it wasn’t a bad price..it will do the job for me!”
Another added: “Great, portable, and lightweight. Perfect for the garden and those road trips where you can set it up with ease.”
The next best deal comes with B&Q for a £15.99 BBQ, meaning you’ll only spend 99p after cashback, with The Range offering on for £17.99 - or £2.99 after cashback.
Wilko have similar BBQs starting from £45, while Dunelm’s are priced from £45 for a kettle charcoal BBQ.
After purchasing the BBQ, shoppers will see their £15 cashback bonus appear in their account within seven days.
The TopCashback deal runs up until June 30, giving customers plenty of time to bag their free or cheap BBQ ahead of the summer months. New TopCashback users can sign up to shop the deal here.
