Many shoppers across the UK are hotly anticipating the launch of Boots’ 70 per cent off post-Christmas sale, and while it’s yet to hit stores and slash the price of leftover gifts, that’s not to say there aren’t some serious bargains to be had before the month is through.
Today - the last day of January and what feels like the longest month ever - Boots have launched a massive sale that sees several beauty and skincare products slashed to just £10, known as £10 Tuesday.
This week, the offer features a number of best-selling brands and beauty must-haves reduced to £10 for a limited 24-hour period, including brands such as No7, Mario Badescu, Clinique, Olay, NIP+FAB - and some of the savings are as big as £20.
For example, the NIP+FAB Retinol Fix Intense Booster offers one of the biggest savings this week. Usually priced at £29.95, the serum is now down to £10 - but only until midnight.
The retinol product promises shoppers a ‘bright, radiant complexion’ using a 0.3 per cent time-released retinoid - an ingredient that visibly smoothes and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Boots describe the product as ‘beauty sleep in a bottle’, and it's so powerful, you only need to use it once or twice a week to wake up to a ‘younger, refreshed looking complexion’.
It’s racked up dozens of five star reviews with an overall rating of 4.4 stars, with shoppers saying it made them look younger in a matter of weeks, and that it smells amazing, too.
One shopper, called Trish, said: “I really like this product. Soaks in well and I can definitely see a difference in just over a week. Skin looks fresher and brighter and lines and wrinkles seem to be less prominent.”
Rebecca added: “Firstly the smell on this is amazing. Only been using it a little while but can feel the effects already. Perfect to put on under a moisturiser. Will be purchasing this again and a bargain when I bought it on £10 Tuesday.”
“I was sceptical at first that I would see any results,” admitted Sianwill1308. “But after week three and using it four times a week I can definitely see a reduction in fine lines especially on my forehead.”
