With online purchases being the go to for many shoppers, many of us look forward to unboxing orders delivered to our homes.
However, as more online orders take place, more mistakes can be made, leaving shoppers confused by their deliveries. One Shein shopper was left speechless after having an unrecognisable product delivered by her postman, according to the Mirror.
The amused woman took to TikTok, saying she had recently decided to splash out on a large, fluffy rug from the online shopping company Shein. Costing just a thrifty £13, the woman thought the large, snowy white rug would be a perfect addition to her home - transforming her room on a tight budget.
However, when the package arrived, the lady was shocked by what was inside. Instead of the large floor rug she had been expecting, a small piece of rug, no bigger than her foot, fell from the box. One amused follower commented that the rug seemed more suited for Barbie's Dream House than a human room.
Taking to TikTok, where she goes by the username @crackermania, the baffled 17-year-old could be seen clapping a hand to her mouth in shock in a video revealing what her supposed bargain buy really looked like.
Warning her followers to 'always read the reviews' first, the US-based teen could barely contain her laughter as she compared a pic of the advertised rug with what was actually delivered. Showing the titchy-tiny patch of fabric next to her foot for scale, it was clear it would have been too small to use as a doormat, let alone a cosy bedroom rug.
Her followers were left in absolute hysterics at the sight of the dishcloth-sized rug, with one person remarking that it looked like 'a rug for ants'.
Another person jokingly suggested: "Maybe it grows if you put it in water?" A third chuckled: "Awww d***, they gave you a sample!"
A fourth person took a more positive view, laughing: "But like it’d be cute to go on a nightstand or vanity." The Mirror has reached out to Shein for comment.
