Shopper flabbergasted when she finds hidden feature on trolleys in ASDA, Aldi, Tesco, Lidl, and Morrisons

If you've ever done a big shop at supermarkets like ASDA, Tesco, Aldi, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Lidl or Marks and Spencer (M&S), chances are, you'll have used a big trolley. But while you may have your own theory about where is best to put stuff in the trolley, it's likely it's wrong.

One woman says she was left 'in shock' after learning there's a 'hidden' compartment in the trolleys barely anybody knows about. Her findings flabbergasted her so much, they've gone viral on Tik Tok.

Gemma Bird, who goes by @moneymumofficial on TikTok and Instagram, shared her must-see shopping hack on Tik Tok, much to the delight of shoppers. Her tip will see your flowers and baguettes getting home without being flattened by milk.

Over the video, she wrote: "Did you know what they were for?" as she expressed her horror that she hadn't realised sooner. She said: "Is this just me, or did you realise these existed on trolleys?" as she places flowers and a baguette into the designated holders which can be found on the farthest end of the trolley as you push it.

Gemma claimed she was 'still in shock' as she opened her mouth in amazement as part of the video. Others were also shocked by the hack, but some waded in and offered some of their own advice.

One wrote: "Flip it round so its in the small section then put the flowers etc in", and Gemma responded: "Amazing, thanks for the tip!"

Another woman joked: "I thought they were for wine", followed by a crying with laughter emoji. Gemma replied: "Well they can be hun!"

Someone commented: "Yep, and some have a space below for big packets." You learn something new every day.
