Homicide detectives investigating the fatal shooting of a man found in a suburban Adelaide street last night have released CCTV footage from around the time of the incident.
The victim, who has been identified as 41-year-old Adelaide father Glenn Holton, was found lying in Dunorlan Road — at Edwardstown in Adelaide's south — with a gunshot wound.
He was rushed to the Flinders Medical Centre in a critical condition, but was pronounced dead a short time later.
His death is being treated as a murder.
Detectives have since released CCTV showing three vehicles driving east on Dunorlan Road towards South Road around the time of the incident, and have appealed for the drivers to come forward.
Police said the first two vehicles appeared to be small white hatchbacks or sedans, while the third looked like a white SUV.
They believe the drivers may have seen the victim, a man riding a pushbike and "possibly a third person in the street".
"Investigators are seeking to identify those vehicles and their drivers as they believe they may have important information that could assist the investigation," police said.
Paramedics and police arrived at the scene about 9:30pm Sunday, and Major Crime Investigation Branch detectives and forensic officers examined the area.
Police have also asked anyone who was in Dunorlan Road between 8:30pm and 9:30pm on Sunday, or has dashcam footage from the area, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
