During a recent rally held by former President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, three law enforcement sources have confirmed that a shooter was present outside the venue. Two of these sources specifically mentioned that the shooter was positioned on a roof outside the venue. While the term 'sniper' has been used by multiple law enforcement sources to describe the individual, further details regarding this characterization remain unclear.
Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger shared that according to information provided by his chief detective, the shooter was located on a building adjacent to the property. Goldinger noted the lack of additional details available about the individual. He emphasized that the act would have necessitated the use of a rifle due to the considerable distance involved, estimated to be several hundred yards.
