The Dodgers signed Shohei Ohtani to a 10-year, $70 million contract earlier this week, and the team officially introduced their newest superstar Thursday. At a press conference held at Dodger Stadium, Ohtani put on a Dodgers uniform and hat for the very first time.
The two-way superstar spent the past six years with the crosstown rival Angels, wearing a uniform with red as the primary color. Now he moves to the Dodgers organization and its iconic Dodger blue uniforms.

As fans got their first look at Ohtani in his new uniform, many around the baseball world were either excited, devastated or unprepared to see him in a new jersey.

Fans will have plenty of time to get used to Ohtani wearing Dodger blue, as the two-way star will start his 10-year contract once the season begins next Spring. For now, this press conference is the chance for Dodgers fans to get excited about their new addition, and for other fans to get comfortable with the sight.
