Shohei Ohtani appeared quite emotional after the Angels lost in stunning fashion

Los Angeles Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani might not have been too thrilled about his team’s difficult Thursday loss to the Seattle Mariners.

A camera showed what looked like Ohtani tearing up at the end of the game, and if that’s the case it’s hard to blame him with how things have gone for the Angels this season.

Los Angeles opted not to trade him at the deadline this season, but he’ll perhaps be the most sought-after free agent in MLB history if he really wants to find a new team.

If the Angels can’t make the postseason, it’s entirely possible these possible tears could be our first big hint that Ohtani will head elsewhere this offseason.

The Angels haven’t really done Ohtani any favors while he’s been there, and he’s the best player in the MLB operating in his absolute prime.

He more than deserves a chance to play for a team that can really give him a shot at a World Series, and it might not be Los Angeles that gets him there.
