This is the shocking moment a woman allegedly shoots her boyfriend in the back.
Daiana Rosa da Silva Luz, 36, is wanted for attempted murder after allegedly shooting her boyfriend at his property in Sao Paulo City, Brazil, on Thursday morning.
The gun and a knife were found at the scene by investigators as they suspect the victim, 42, was shot following an argument.
The victim is currently recovering in the hospital.
A CCTV camera in the victim's hallway appeared to capture the moment the suspect walks through a nearby playground before running away.
In the home recording, the suspect is seen sitting outside the property as her boyfriend walks indoors and closes the front door on her.
He then stands in front of what appears to be a mirror as the suspect bursts through the door while holding a gun in both hands.
She takes aim and fires at the man as he stands with his back to her.
The victim falls backwards and crashes against a table as the suspect stands over him, shouting and jabbing her finger.
She then tries to fire the gun again, but appears to encounter a problem.
The victim, lying in a pool of blood, tries but is unable to get up off the floor.
The suspect is seen leaving the property and returning several times as the video ends.
The suspect fled the scene without helping the victim, police say.
Neighbours were the ones who raised the alarm and phoned the police.
After arriving on the scene, the victim was taken to the Hospital Santa Marcelina in the Sao Paulo area of Itaquera with non-life-threatening injuries.
The hospital said in a statement on Friday: “The patient... was admitted to the hospital in Itaquera and is being treated by medical and nursing staff.
"Information about the patient’s health status will only be passed on by family members.”
He is still undergoing treatment while the suspect remains at large.
The alleged shooter was last seen driving away in a white Renault Clio, which passed through the city of São José dos Campos. It is suspected that she may now have fled the region.
