Shocking moment fight with 'Rambo knives' breaks out in broad daylight in Tottenham

This is the shocking moment a knife fight broke out in broad daylight in north London.

Two men were seen swiping at each other with large “Rambo knives” at around 1.50pm on Monday afternoon as neighbours watched in horror on a residential street in Tottenham.

The pair were filmed stabbing at each other for around 30 seconds before one of the suspects climbs into a blue car and the other cycles away on a bike that had been dumped on the street nearby.

Police believe a 20-year-old man was assaulted near Wargrave Avenue before he was found injured close by on Crowland Road.

He was been taken to hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The Metropolitan Police said no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

The London Ambulance Service were called to the scene at around 1.50pm before contacting the police shortly after 2.10pm.

A LAS spokesperson added: “We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car.

“The first of our crews arrived at the scene in less than five minutes. We treated a patient at the scene, before taking him to hospital.”

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson added: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 14:11hrs on Monday, 24 June to reports of a man stabbed on Crowland Road, N15.

“Officers attended. The 20-year-old man has been taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

“At this early stage it is believed that the man was assaulted in the vicinity of Wargrave Avenue. There have been no arrests and enquiries remain ongoing.”
