Leeds United supporters have described the decision to award Liverpool's opening goal as 'shocking', after Trent Alexander-Arnold handled the ball in the build-up.
Junior Firpo lost possession outside his own penalty area and the ball struck Alexander-Arnold's arm as the Leeds left-back made a last-ditch attempt to clear his lines.
Alexander-Arnold then made his way into the penalty area by exchanging passes with Mohamed Salah, before squaring for Cody Gakpo to convert unmarked at the back post.

Craig Pawson and his officials allowed the goal to stand, and VAR chose not to intervene, and stuck with the on-field decision.
Liverpool then doubled their advantage three minutes later with Diogo Jota sprinting half the length of the pitch to tee up Salah six minutes before the break.
