A gang of men have been caught on camera in a street brawl in front of shocked bystanders in Scots town.

Trouble erupted outside the co-op on Queen Argyll Street in Dunoon at around 9:40 pm on Saturday, June 25.

According to the Daily Record, the video shows a woman attempting to break up the brawl but end up being knocked down and sprawled on the ground, as a man pushes himself back to his feet on top of her.

The fight continues into the street as one frustrated motorist sounds their horn for several seconds as the battling yobs block the road.

Another man tries to break up the trio but ends up just holding their jacket, which they shrug off as they continue throwing punches.

One of the two, filmed landing powerful blows on another individual, ends up on the ground with his T-shirt being pulled off.

It’s not clear what instigated the violence but a bag of booze can be seen spilling onto the pavement near a zebra crossing.

The shocking scenes took place in front of bewildered shoppers and young kids who watched from the side-lines as the trio shouted and swore.

Police Scotland confirm that they were called to reports of a disturbance on Saturday evening.
