Police have released CCTV of a gang-of-four on off-road bikes stealing a motorbike from outside a McDonald's in Salford. The theft happened in the afternoon of January 28 which police say is part of a 'series' of incidents.
The video shows four men wearing masks and hoods driving into the car park of the McDonald's off Ordsall Lane before one jumps off an off-road bike and drives away with a delivery motorbike parked outside the entrance. One of the gang appears to be holding large wire/cable cutters.
A man can then be seen running from the restaurant as the gang make their escape from the car park.
Salford police have released CCTV of the incident, which happened just before 2.15pm, urging people to help identify those seen in the video. They say they are currently investigating a number of thefts and attempted thefts of motorbikes in the Pendleton, Charles Town, and Ordsall areas.
GMP Salford posted a statement saying: "The Salford South East Neighbourhood Team continue to investigate a series of theft/attempt theft of motor bikes in the Pendleton/Charles Town and Ordsall area. We are looking to identify the offenders involved in the above video.
