Shiraz University Offers Scholarships To Expelled US, European Students

Shiraz University in Iran has announced its decision to offer scholarships to students from universities in the United States and Europe who have faced expulsion due to the ongoing student protests related to the crisis in the Middle East. The university's President, Mohammad Moreno, expressed that students and professors who have been expelled or are under threat of expulsion are welcome to continue their studies at Shiraz University. Moreno also mentioned that other universities in Shiraz and Fars province are also prepared to extend similar opportunities.

Located in the southern region of Iran, Shiraz serves as a significant city and acts as the capital of Fars province. The initiative to provide scholarships to affected students and professors comes amidst a backdrop of student protests and demonstrations linked to the Middle East crisis.

President Moreno's statements were made during a gathering that brought together students and professors from various universities in Shiraz. The event was held in solidarity with pro-Palestinian protesters from the United States and Europe, showcasing a spirit of support and collaboration across borders.
