Shimla: Two people died and another sustained injuries when a Bolero Jeep carrying three people fell down in a drain on Hadsar-Bharmaur road under Chamba district on Monday.
The police chief of Chamb Abhishek Yadav confirmed that two people were killed and one was seriously injured when the Boleri vehicle fell into the drain in Bharmour subdivision.
In the mishap, two people died on the spot, while another was seriously injured and has been referred to Medical College Chamba.
The post-mortem of the deceased is being conducted.
According to the information, the vehicle was coming from Balmui when it suddenly went uncontrollable near the Darati bridge and fell into a deep drain. The deceased are identified as Rakesh Kumar (the driver) and Ashni Kumar. The injured have been identified as Anil Kumar, a resident of village Seri. (UNI)
