FC Sheriff vs Manchester United: Kick-off time, prediction, latest team news and TV for Europa League today

Manchester United are out to rectify an opening week Europa League defeat as they travel to face FC Sheriff today.

Erik ten Hag’s side were beaten 1-0 by Real Sociedad a week ago at a subdued Old Trafford, less than two hours after the announcement of Queen Elizabeth II’s passing. It brought an end to a run of four wins on the bounce for United.

This will be their last match before the international break, after it was confirmed that this weekend’s Premier League clash against Leeds has been postponed due to policing issues ahead of the state funeral on Monday.

Sheriff are in a confident mood after their 3-0 win over Omonia left them top of Group E after the first match.

FC Sheriff vs Manchester United prediction

Man United need a response to that opening defeat though, as Real Madrid found out last season when losing at the Bernabeu, Sheriff are no easy touch.

A strong side can be expected from United as they look to go into the international break on a high, and they should have the quality to get their European campaign back on track.

Man United to win, 3-1.
