Sheridan Smith 's jewellery has been stolen from her trailer in a raid on set of her new sitcom.
The actress, 40, is reported to be 'very upset' after all of her jewellery - including her bracelets, rings, and necklaces - were snatched from her trailer.
The gang are reported to have stolen thousands of pounds worth of bling in the robbery.
Former Gavin & Stacey actress Sheridan is said to have been targeted by a gang of thieves nicknamed the Movie Takers - who have carried out huge raids on a number of major film and TV productions.
According to The Sun, cops were called on Thursday night after Sheridan’s trailer on the set of new Sky show Rosie Molloy Gives Up Everything was ransacked.
The incident took place in South West London.
An insider told the publication that Sheridan feels personally victimised in the raid.
“This was a very upsetting incident and everyone involved is shocked - but Sheridan is understandably very hurt," the source told.
“Fortunately, it wasn’t hugely expensive items, more day to day things, but she had left them in her trailer for safety while filming in character and came back to find the place had been turned over.
“It’s absolutely disgraceful that these people would do this," they added.
Following the incident, a Met Police spokesman told The Mirror: "Police are investigating the theft of jewellery.
"The offence happened at about 23:50hrs on Thursday, 5 May. Items of jewellery were stolen from trailers parked on Hollyfield Road, King Charles Centre, Surbiton.
"There have been no arrests. Enquiries continue."
Sheridan's new show sees the actress play the lead role of character Rosie.
The troubled character suffers from anxiety and depression and is trying her best to free herself of booze, drug and sex addictions.
The hotly-anticipated series is expected to hit screens this winter.
Sheridan has also appeared in Gavin and Stacey, The Royle Family and Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.
The Mirror has reached out to Sheridan's representatives for further comment on this story.
