Starstruck judge Sheridan Smith is reportedly ready to start dating once again - two months after splitting from Alex Lawler.
The Teacher, 40, actress has been dazzling viewers on the ITV talent contest with her gorgeous outfits, with her friends telling Closer magazine that Sheridan's new look has been kickstarted by her plan to start dating once more.
Sheridan split from fiancé Jamie Horn in the summer after three years and share a son, Billy, together.
The Gavin & Stacey star then started seeing former flame Alex Lawler, but the pair broke up in January after four months amid claims she was still 'in love' with Jamie.
A source told Closer: "Sheridan's been through hell over the last year but, after doing a lot of work on herself and getting back to the 'old Sheridan', she's ready to open her heart to someone."
Sheridan had a break from the spotlight after her dad Colin died from cancer 2016.
Recently however she has become a familiar face on our screens once more, in dramas The Teacher and No Return, as well as her gig on Starstruck, which sees tribute acts compete against each other.
The support and rave reviews from fans following these roles has reportedly boosted Sheridan's confidence, and she is thriving on her work and being a mum.
The source said: "The missing piece of the puzzle is finding her 'happy ever after', so she is putting herself out there and hopes she will find her dream man- and even give Billy a sibling."
Sheridan met Jamie, a former insurance broker, on Tinder in 2018. After they split, she revealed that the two are committed to co-parenting their child.

She said at the time: "We both remain completely committed to raising our beautiful boy Billy together. We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you."
In the past, The BAFTA winner has dated comedian James Corden, 43 and Hollyoaks actor Greg Wood, 42.
James and Sheridan met on the set of Fat Friends in 2002, before being cast as brother and sister, Smithy and Rudi, in Gavin and Stacey. They dated between 2007 and 2009.
Sheridan and Greg, who is best known for his role of Trevor Royle, went public with their relationship in 2015.
The pair even had matching tattoos with Sheridan's reading, 'Gregory's Girl', while Greg had 'My Sheri Amour' inked on his skin each above a heart playing card with 'all in' written underneath.
At the weekend, Sheridan wowed ITV viewers as she appeared on the Starstruck judging panel in a jaw-dropping back sequin number.
The singer sat alongside Beverley Knight, Jason Manford and Adam Lambert with her hair styled in beachy waves with sultry smokey make-up.
The most recent episode of the Saturday night show, presented by Olly Murs, saw more contestants make their transformation into musical megastars including Barbara Streisand and Gary Barlow.
