Sheridan Smith 'confirms' marriage to Jamie Horn - then mysteriously backtracks

Sheridan Smith has 'confirmed' she's married Jamie Horn - before mysteriously backtracking.

The lovebirds, who got engaged last summer, posed for a snap of themselves on Sheridan’s Twitter yesterday with the caption: “Bank holiday pouting with the hubby.”

An hour later, the actress deleted the post even though hundreds of fans commented about the surprising “hubby” reference.

In November, Jamie fuelled rumours they had got married after he was spotted wearing a wedding band. But the pair refused to confirm whether they had tied the knot.

Sheridan, 37, announced her engagement to the 28-year-old insurance broker last May, just three months after they met on Tinder. She revealed Jamie went about the pro- posal in a traditional way by asking her mum Marilyn for permission.

She said: “I thought, someone’s gonna have me! When he asked my mum to marry me she said: “Are you sure you can handle her?”’

Earlier this year Sheridan said she was thinking about starting a family, and had ditched late-night partying for early nights on her farm with her fiance.

The actress was regularly seen drinking after the death of her beloved dad Colin from cancer in 2016.

And when she returns to the spotlight, I’m sure all the details of her wedding will follow...
