Shelbourne coach Alan Quinn has been suspended from all football-related activity for four months for allegedly breaching the FAI's betting rules.
The association said in a statement on Saturday that the former Ireland international had breached their Disciplinary Regulations relating to betting.
The breaches are connected to 18 League of Ireland games between 5 August 2022 and 5 May 2023, with the punishment imposed by an Independent Disciplinary Committee following a personal hearing.
Quinn, who played for the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland, Sheffield United and Ipswich Town as a player, is still able appeal the ban.
