With summer approaching, many of us are on the hunt for a snazzy new swimsuit to show off on our holidays - but this particular cozzie might be taking it a step too far.
SHEIN shoppers have been taking to social media with some questions about the brand’s new one piece - namely, where exactly you’re supposed to put everything.
The rhinestone-studded number consists of little more than a small strip that runs from your nether regions to your chest, leaving little to the imagination - and little room for movement, as some pointed out, the Daily Star reports.
“I mean, a vigorous breast stroke and you’d do yourself a damage,” one Facebook user joked, while another said that wearing it would leave them with “friction burns”.
“Anyone want tooth floss for their lady bits?” a third quipped.
Lots of users vetoed the possibility of wearing the swimsuit, with one shopper exclaiming: “I’d have to wax my cervix to wear this”.
But despite the comments the costume so far has a five-star rating on the SHEIN website, with one buyer commenting: “Amazing, stunning colour, very beautiful swimsuit, can’t wait to try it on.”
The costume is priced at £7.99, which one Facebook user jokingly pointed out “seems right for the amount of material used”.
It’s not the first time that SHEIN’s risqué garments have drawn attention.
One woman took to TikTok to share her hilarious experience of purchasing a dress from the website - only to realise when it arrived that it was completely see-through.
Kaitlyn Moore was left in stitches when she tried on the dress, which she had assumed would include the black slip that the model wearing it on the site was photographed in.
Another shopper made an order on the website for a new dress - only for it to arrive the size of a one-litre water bottle.
TikTok user Demi Bradford shared a clip of her trying on the £4.99 sheer dress, which was only available in one size and “looked like it would fit a five-year-old”.
The dress stretched so much when Demi tried it on that it ended up being completely see-through. “You could see absolutely everything,” she laughed. “There’s no way I’d ever be able to wear it out of the house”.
