Shein shoppers hit out at risqué low-cut swimsuit as 'worst front wedgie ever'

With temperatures across the country still reaching record-highs, many Scots will be looking for ways to take advantage of the heat while they can. And nothing says that you are enjoying the summertime more than picking up some stylish new swimwear to wear while sunbathing, whether it be in your own garden or at a beach abroad.

While we all know that swimsuits come in many shapes, sizes and a whole host of different styles these days, it looks like one swimsuit from Shein is a step too far for some shoppers.

The online fast-fashion retailer is known for providing some interesting clothing choices, and their latest risqué swimsuit is certainly a choice. The Mirror reports the fashion chain's 'Backless Ring Linked One Piece Swimsuit' has proven both divisive and popular amongst its fans.

Boasting a low-cut top and an extreme high-cut on the legs, the £5.99 swimsuit is designed for those who may want to make a statement by the pool this summer.

The backless racy number also comes with a tiny string to just cover your dignity - and it has left some shoppers wondering why they should even bother to wear anything at all.

"Why bother wearing anything at all?", said one shopper.

Another tagged her friendship group, sarcastically suggesting: "Shall we get matching cossies for the beach?" with one of her friends quipping: "One for each side", followed by many crying with laughter emojis.

"Ouch! Worst 'front wedgie' ever!", wrote another.

Despite the clear roasting from some shoppers, the skimpy number has proven to be quite popular with some shoppers - with the black shade completely selling out.

One enthusiastic shopper tagged their friend and commented: "Can you please get one for me, I don't mind which colour!"

If you do feel brave enough for the swimsuit, then the retailer still has a few sizes left in a lime green shade. You can shop the risqué swimsuit here.
