A £9 swimsuit from Shein has left shoppers divided after they spotted it online.
Shein, which has been dubbed the 'online version of Primark', has become a go-to for many shoppers in recent years thanks to its low prices and stylish clothing. However, the online retailer may have gone too far this time.
Shein’s £8.99 Backless Ring Linked One Piece Swimsuit has proven popular with shoppers - so much so it's actually sold out in black - but others aren’t convinced, reports the Mirror . The swimsuit features a low-cut top with extreme high-cut legs and comes completely backless with a tiny string covering your dignity.

Luckily, if this is your thing and you missed out on the swimming costume in black, the retailer offers it in green too - and it's currently on sale for £5.99. However, some shoppers weren’t keen on the swimsuit.
One shopper took to social media and said: "Why bother wearing anything at all?". A second wrote: "Ouch! Worst 'front wedgie' ever!"
Another tagged her friendship group, sarcastically suggesting: "Shall we get matching cossies for the beach?" with one of her friends replying: "One for each side", followed by crying with laughter emojis.
The swimsuit has clearly proven popular, with sizes 8 to 16 currently sold out. One person tagged their friend and said: "Can you please get one for me, I don't mind which colour!"
