A Shein shopper has been left in stitches after purchasing a cute pair of overalls from the online retailer - only to be left looking like an Oompa Loompa.
The online fast-fashion giant has gained quite the reputation for providing shoppers with trendy clothing items at low prices, but they are not always what they seem.
Quite a few shoppers have been left either disappointed or in stitches after they found out that their orders didn't look exactly as pictured, which seems to be the case once again. Posting to TikTok, blogger Sydney Roush ( @sydroush ) shared her own fashion blunder after she purchased the retailer's £14.95 DAZY Slant Pockets Denim Dungaree Jumpsuit Without Tee.
Unfortunately, she said the overalls left her looking like she was going to work at Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory due to the thigh area being a lot wider than advertised.
Sydney was left in stitches at the difference in size after she shared the outfit in a 'what I ordered vs what I got' style video and said how "Shein did her dirty".
Naturally, like most Shein fashion fails, the comments on the video quickly blew up as other shoppers admit they "couldn't stop laughing" at the fashion blunder.
"I laughed so hard I woke my sleeping baby. Now he is upset and I can’t stop laughing. girl they did you so dirty", joked one shopper.
"it's a me, Mario!", quipped a second.
"It’s perfect if you plan on painting your face orange and applying to work with Willy wonka", wrote a fourth sarcastic shopper.
"i don’t know why i remembered nintendo’s mario & luigi", commented a fifth.
While a sixth person joked: "I'm sorry but I can't stop laughing."
However, despite the blogger's less than stellar review, there were quite a few shoppers who were quick to comment that the outfit could be saved and did look as advertised.
"No no no. This is super salvageable! Iron it. Put a cute bandeau top (I like skims) under it, and pair it with cute sandals", said one helpful shopper.
"I think it’s mostly just that you need to iron it! I ordered some dresses for my honeymoon and they looked awful until I ironed them", commented a second.
Despite the unflattering comments, the jumpsuit has almost completely sold out online, with only a L(8) and an XL (10) size being left available.
This isn't the first time that the online clothing giant has come under fire for their interesting clothing designs. Just recently, shoppers hit out at a risqué pair of denim shorts that leave your cheeks on show.
