Sheffield Wednesday fans will be given the chance to adopt Ayr United as their second team on the Scottish Championship run-in.
Owls followers – who regard United boss Lee Bullen as a legend for his time spent at Hillsborough – are being invited to head north to Somerset Park.
Season ticket holders at the Yorkshire club will be entitled to take in a free game between now and the end of the season.
It comes as part of a growing bond between both clubs following Bully's move to Ayrshire.
United commercial manager Martin Tocker said: “We were keen to do something after the head coach joined us and we saw just how highly regarded he was at his old club.
"Our social media channels had a huge uptake in followers and we just had to get through the latest round of restrictions in order announce our idea.
"I must also thank Sheffield Wednesday for their help in facilitating the plan but I do need to ask the Wednesday fans to leave their blue and white scarves at home when they visit!”
Owls fans should send their unique supporter number direct to OWLS@AYRUNITEDFC.CO.UK as well as indicating the match they would like to attend.
Tickets will then be available on the day of the match from United's club shop upon production of their season ticket.
United boss Bullen added: “It’s no secret how close to my heart the club are, I’d be delighted to welcome some fans to Somerset Park.”
Ayr's remaining home matches are:
- Dunfermline – Saturday, February 5, 3pm.
- Queen of the South – Saturday, February 26, 3pm.
- Kilmarnock – Friday, March 11, 7.45pm.
