Sharon Osbourne shares update on husband Ozzy amid Covid after he predicted 'death'

Sharon Osbourne has thanked her loyal fans for their unwavering support as her beloved husband Ozzy battles Covid.

The talk show presenter tweeted: "Thank you for all the well wishes and support. Ozzy is much better and on the mend!"

Sharon, 69, revealed her husband's diagnosis on Thursday and said she was 'very worried' about the Black Sabbath star, 73.

Ozzy's family have been increasingly concerned about the musician - who has a rare form of Parkinson's disease, Parkin 2, which he has had since birth.

Last week, Sharon flew from the UK to Los Angeles to be with Ozzy as he battled Covid.

Speaking to The Mirror about Sharon's concerns for her husband, and insider revealed that the former reality TV star dropped everything to be with her other half as soon as she heard of his worrying diagnosis.

“She’s beside herself with worry. Ozzy was badly paranoid about getting Covid because of everything that he has been through," the insider revealed.

"Now he’s got it, he’s panicked and feeling awful. He heard about Covid spreading on surfaces and got so paranoid that he got all takeaway deliveries coming into the house sprayed outside with anti-bacterial treatments.”

In an emotional video last week, Sharon said: “Ozzy was diagnosed in the middle of the night, our time. I spoke to him and he’s OK.

"I am very worried about Ozzy. We went two years without him catching Covid. It’s just Ozzy’s luck it would be now.”

It comes after the former Black Sabbath frontman – whose biggest hit was 1970’s Paranoid – predicted his own death in a new interview before he was diagnosed with Covid.

He said: “It will be f***ing Christmas again before you know it. I will be 74. I will be dead soon.”

Ozzy is also currently waiting for a back operation which he hopes will help him walk properly again.

The star recently said: "I’m still waiting because this Covid thing keeps knocking it back. I do not know what the end is going to be with this bloody Covid.”
