Sharon Osbourne debuts white hair after dyeing it red every week for 18 years

Sharon Osbourne has debuted her biggest transformation for years after she ditched her red locks and embraced a new white look.

The 67-year-old former X Factor judge has been dyeing her hair at least once a week a deep red colour for the past 18 years but she has decided enough is enough.

Sharon decided to embrace her natural look and then some by taking her hair colour to '100% white' with the help of celebrity colourist, Jack Martin.

It is quite some transformation too as Martin explained on his Instagram how it came to be that Sharon wanted have such a dramatic change.

Martin captioned a pic of his client in 'before and after' poses: "Sharon has 100% white hair and she was coloring her hair once a week dark vibrant red for the past 18 years.

"She explained to me that she wanted to do this transformation long time ago but every time she attempts it ends up with a disaster."

Martin continued: “Sharon was very tired of coloring her hair once a week and she was obligated to since she is on tv almost every day hosting her popular tv show @thetalkcbs.”

Martin revealed that it was quite an undertaking and that he didn't promise Sharon that he could achieve exactly what she was wanting.

Fortunately, with his reputation on the line, he came good in the mammoth hair dyeing session.

He continued: "It took me a total of eight hours from start to finish to get her to a platinum blonde so she doesn’t have to be committed to coloring her hair once a week anymore."

Sharon's white hair comes on the same day as her former Black Sabbath singer husband Ozzy has announced that he has cancelled his North American tour.

Ozzy announced, alongside Sharon, that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, during an emotional TV interview in January,

He has decided to fly to Europe to get specialist treatment for Parkinson's in the hope that he will be well enough to tour the UK in October.
