Share your experience of private fertility treatment in the UK

England’s first not-for-profit fertility clinic has shut within a year of opening and has been sold to a private provider, in what one of its founders called “a tragedy for women”.

We are interested in hearing from people in the UK who have undergone fertility treatment at a private clinic. What was your final bill and were there any unexpected costs? Do you feel you were given clear information about your chances of success?

We’d like to find out whether you felt you were treated with enough compassion. If you’re in a same sex relationship, what was your experience?

We are also interested in hearing from practitioners amid concerns that some patients are being offered unproven “add-ons” in the private sector, such as assisted hatching or immunological tests.

You can remain anonymous, if you prefer, and we will contact you before publishing, so please leave contact details.
