Lambs frolicking in the spring sunshine, cute kids in bunny ears hunting for eggs, a family picnic under a tree laden with blossom. What is the perfect picture of the Easter holidays for you?
Although we've all had Aprils when we've had to wear two pairs of socks to keep warm or been rained out of a beer garden on a deceptively warm spring weekend, it's always the idyllic days that optimistically jump to mind when we're imagining the Easter holidays.
March's challenge of spring snaps showcased the beauty of Merseyside as the warmer weather and brighter days began to creep in. The winning snap was a magnificent image taken of a swan family taking a leisurely stroll with Merseyside's skyline making the perfect backdrop.
This month, the ECHO's Mersey Snaps photo competition is all about Easter holiday fun. Whether you're spending it amusing the kids or enjoying a grown-ups only walk in the park, we want to see your best photos of the bank holiday. Perhaps you want to show off a great snap you've taken of a famous Liverpool scene in the April sunshine or a pic of a stack of chocolate eggs.
The picture with the most votes from our readers will be crowned the winner - and will be printed in all its glory in the ECHO newspaper as well as appearing as the banner image on the ECHO's Facebook and Twitter pages.
You have until 5am on Sunday, April 23 to submit your photo, with the voting beginning the same day. Voting closes at 5am on Sunday, April 30, with the winner announced later that day. If you upload photos of your children, you must not include any data about them including their name, age and location.
Have fun snapping and don't forget to ask your friends and family to vote.
