Shaquille O'Neal has added to one of his multi-million pound mansions, after showing off an impressive new koi fish pond and golf course in his garden.
O'Neal is known to have residences across the United States in Dallas and Florida. And it was him home in Florida that received the garden glow-up, with the the American adding a second water feature to his home in the space of three years.
The project - which cost the NBA Hall of Famer a whopping £394,000 ($500,000) - was put together by 'The Pond Guy', and shown to his fans after YouTuber ' Ed The Pond Guy ' gave a behind closed doors look.
In the video a huge team are seen constructing O'Neal's pond, which is over 130-feet long and 110-feet wide. The Basketball legend previously had a lake in the same spot, but struggled with leaking issues from the bed of water.
Inside the pond, which was described as an 'eco-system recreation pond', O'Neal will house a whole host of koi fish with one especially named after the man himself. The video revealed that the mega-sized koi fish had been shipped in from Japan, and aptly named 'Shakoi O'Neal'.
The pond is also set to contain fish provided by former San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey. The ex-Major League Baseball's star's fish were being shipped over to the former LA Lakers and Orlando Magic man's property due Posey moving out to San Francisco.
O'Neal was not the only NBA star to have one of his fish named after him though, as the 51-year-old also labelled one after fellow former player, and friend Charles Barkley. It was not just about the water though. After rushing home to see the finish product, O'Neal appeared to be more than pleased when realising it was kitted out with golf practice greens too.
Surrounded by the body of water, the project also included a chipping green and two putting greens. Unsurprisingly the former Lakers star was quick to get his putter in hand, challenging one of his designers to a putting competition on the green.
It was revealed that a stone weighing one million pounds was removed for the pond, and took the team 10 days to construct. Realising the sheer size of his water feature, O'Neal was then shocked to hear that it was filled with over 100,000 gallons of water.
