Former teammates Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant are unquestionably two of the biggest names in Lakers franchise history. But unlike Kobe, it appears that Shaq finds himself on the outside looking in when it came to a list of the all-time most important Lakers, which was created by current owner and president Jeanie Buss.
After Buss listed her all-time top five Lakers, which featured Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, LeBron James, Magic Johnson and Phil Jackson, there was no shortage of fans highlighting the absence of Shaq from the list. And O'Neal himself took to social media with a response.
For what it's worth, it appeared to be all in good fun for the Lakers legend, whose No. 34 is retired by the Lakers, as he posted his 'shocked' face in the second slide of the Instagram post above.
