Shane Lowry’s staggering net worth after he bagged over €1.3 million with BMW PGA win

Shane Lowry did Ireland proud when he came first at the BMW PGA Championship over the weekend.

The Offaly native bagged over €1.3 million which will be added to his already impressive net worth.

RSVP Live report that between playing in 261 tournaments in his career and signing incredible sponsorship deals, he is one of Ireland's highest-earning athletes.

What is Shane Lowry’s net worth?

While Shane’s exact net worth has not been confirmed, it has been estimated that he is worth over €22 million.

He has earned €19,404,437.69 from taking part in 261 tournaments and having six DP world tour wins, according to the European Tour's website.

How much does Shane get when he wins?

Shane’s latest win landed him €1,360,000 at the BMW PGA Championship, with runner-up Rory McIlroy taking home €692,000.

When he secured his first golf major win during the 2019 Open Championship he collected €1.73 million.

Other prizes he took home included €100,000 for finishing in 21st place at the Masters in 2021 and €380,000 after finishing in fourth place in last year's PGA Championships.

What properties does Shane own?

Shane and his wife Wendy Homer own two houses, one in Dublin and another in the United States.

The couple purchased their Victorian-style new build in south Dublin back in 2015.

With the father-of-two spending considerable time in the US working, he purchased a property in the affluent Florida town of Jupiter. It is also the home of his fellow Irish golf star Rory McIlroy.

Who is Shane sponsored by?

Another big part of Shane’s net worth is the money he makes from sponsorship deals.

He recently signed a three-year sponsorship deal with the Dublin-based e-commerce company Wayflyer to be their global ambassador.

Bank of Ireland has been on his shirt since 2014 with the golfer acting as their brand ambassador.

In 2019, Shane signed on to become the global brand ambassador for Teneo, the public relations and advisory company.

He also wears the Srixon logo on his hat and signed a contract extension with them in 2019 after working with the company for over 15 years at the time.
