Shane Lowry is set for a nervous wait to see if he will be around for the weekend at the US Open as he hoovers on the cut line.
The 2019 Open Champion currently boats the longest streak of cuts made at majors and looks set to stick around in Boston for the weekend.
Lowry currently sits at four over par after a a two over par day and looked in real danger of missing the cut after three bogeys in five holes.
But two birdies on the run in gave the world number 24 a real chance of making the cut and barring a massive turnaround is set to be around for the weekend.
Seamus Power is well in contention after an even par 70.
The Waterford man currently sits one over par and is only four shots off early clubhouse leader Scottie Scheffler.
