SHANE Lowry says he will give it everything to make the Ryder Cup at 40 when it returns to Ireland.
Adare Manor will host in 2027, on the centenary of the tournament.
"Obviously it will be very special, it's going to be a great Ryder Cup," said 35-year-old Lowry, speaking at the venue during the second day of the JP McManus Pro-Am yesterday.

"I just really hope I'm part of it. I hope I'm playing.
"I'll be touching 40 at that stage, so hopefully I'm still going and still going strong.
"That's definitely a long-term goal of mine, to be part of that team."
While praising the course, world number three John Rahm said that it needs to be 'de-Americanised' for the Ryder Cup in terms of making it a tougher test.
Lowry says that will definitely happen, adding: Look, this is as good a course as you'll get anywhere and it's as good a condition golf course as you'll get anywhere.
"I've said it since the first day I came here, when JP re-did it, it's as good as anything.
"I try to play here as much as I can when I have time off, just to prepare for going back out on Tour because I think it is one of the golf courses that I can go to in Ireland that prepares me for tournament play.
"It's pretty cool to have that here."
Most importantly, the 2019 Open champion in Portrush believes his game is in very good shape as he gears up for St Andrews next week.
"I had a decent Irish Open last week," said Lowry. "I played good golf this week.
"So I'm pretty confident and I'll play some links golf here in Ireland towards the end of this week and head over to St Andrews on Sunday morning.
"And yeah, I'm really looking forward to it."
